Additional Information on Mahabharata Serial

#1. England में इस धारावाहिक का प्रसारण बीबीसी द्वारा किया गया था जहां इसकी दर्शक संख्या 50 लाख के आँकड़े को भी पार कर गई, जो दोपहर के समय प्रसारित किए जाने वाले किसी भी धारावाहिक के लिए एक बहुत बड़ी बात थी।

#2. Mahabharat Serial में महाभारत की सारी घटनाओं को नही दिखाया गया था। जो घटनाएं रह गई थी उन्हें इस सीरीयल के अगले कुछ सालों बाद Mahabharat Katha सीरीयल में दिखाया गया था जिसके कुल 45 Episodes थे।

#3. Production Team के मेंबर Kishore Malhotra के अनुसार इस धारावाहिक को बनाने में उस समय कुल 9 करोड़ रूपए की लागत आई थी।

      You are right. The original Mahabharat serial has only 94 episodes and not having all stories of Mahabharat. That is why another show was produced ‘Mahabharat Katha’ to show the remaining stories of this epic. This is the reason you are seeing 139 episodes of Mahabharat on YouTube.
