About Tipu Sultan
Tipu Sultan 29 December 1782 से 4 May 1799 तक Mysore (Karnataka) के सुल्तान थे। उनके पिता Haider Ali Mysore के एक सेनापति थे जो 1761 में चालाकी से सुल्तान बन गए। उनकी मौत के टीपू सुल्तान बना था।
Tipu Sultan ने मराठों और British East India Company से कई युद्ध किए थे। 4 May 1799 कोBritish East India Company के विरूद्ध चौथे युद्ध में लड़ते हुए वो मारे गए।

Petition Against Serial in Supreme Court
जब ये Serial DD National पर Broadcast हो रहा था तब रवि वर्मा नाम के एक व्यक्ति ने इस Serial के विरूद्ध Supreme Court में एक Petition Register की थी। जिसमें ये कहा गया था कि ये Serial उस समय की History को गलत तरीके से दिखाता है।
इसके बाद Supreme Court ने ये Order दिए कि हर Episode के Start में एक Notice लिखा जाए जिसमें ये कहा जाए कि ये Serial ऐतिहासिकता का कोई दावा नही करता बल्कि Bhagwan Gidwani के Novel पर आधारित है।
Fire in Studios of Mysore
8 February 1990 को इस Show के Set पर आग लग गई थी जिसमें Sanjay Khan समेत 62 लोग बुरी तरह झुलस गए। Sanjay Khan 13 महीनों तक Hospital में रहे और उनके 72 Operation भी हुए।
इस Show के Last Episodes को इस Accident के कुछ साल बाद Shot किया गया था।

On which day and date The sword of Tipu sultan was telecasting in Feb’ 1991. Kindly reply me as it will help me to find out the correct date of my father’s demise day and date. As I was watching the serial at my neighbor’s house in the night around 10 pm and my father took the last breath. Hence kindly help me to find out the correct date and day. It’s my humble request to the concerned administrator.
